Sound familiar?

Considering electric heating but not sure if it is actually right for your property?

Electric boilers are not the right answer for every home. We speak to a lot of people who have been given confident recommendations without anyone properly assessing their property first. You deserve an honest answer before any commitment is made.

Why choose us

Electric heating done properly, with honest advice on whether it belongs in your home.

We assess suitability before recommending anything

Electrical supply, heat demand, and system compatibility are all checked before we recommend anything. Electric heating is only specified where it genuinely makes sense for your property.

An honest view on electric versus heat pumps

For flats, smaller homes, and off-gas properties, an electric boiler is often the more practical, lower-disruption option. We tell you which is right for your situation, not what is easiest to sell.

Solar support where it genuinely adds value

Where solar PV is installed or planned, it can meaningfully offset your electric boiler running costs. We are straightforward about what solar can and cannot do.

System-first approach, not product-first

We do not assume a boiler replacement is required. Where system condition is the underlying issue, we identify it before installation. If remediation is more appropriate than replacement, we will explain this clearly.

Documented installation with warranty protection

Every installation meets manufacturer requirements and is fully documented. Where system preparation is required for warranty compliance, this is carried out and recorded. Documentation is provided as part of the handover.

35+ years of heating system experience

Since 1990, we have installed and maintained heating systems across Scotland. We know which solutions work for which properties, and we will tell you honestly.

Why it matters

Why system preparation matters more than the appliance

In many older properties, the cost and performance of a heating upgrade is not determined by the appliance itself. It is determined by the condition of the existing system.

The reality

System condition drives performance

The condition of your existing heating system, the suitability of your radiators, and the heat demand of your property all determine how well any new appliance will perform. An electric boiler installed onto a restricted or undersized system will work, but at significantly higher running cost than a correctly prepared system.

The correct approach

Assess, understand, prepare

Before any installation is considered, the system must be properly assessed and prepared where necessary. This ensures the right appliance is selected, performance is predictable, and unnecessary replacement work is avoided from the outset.

How it works

Your new electric heating system in three clear steps

We handle everything from initial assessment to final commission. You tell us about your property and we take it from there.

1

Tell us about your property

Fill in our quick enquiry form with the basics about your home, your current heating setup, and what you are looking to change. No jargon, no lengthy surveys.

2

We assess and advise

An engineer reviews your electrical capacity, heat demand, insulation level, and system condition. If electric heating is the right fit, we confirm the correct specification. If it is not, we will tell you honestly and explain why.

3

Clean installation, fully warranted

Your new electric boiler is installed with correct system preparation, full commissioning, and everything documented. No combustion, no flue work, minimal disruption.

Before you commit

Considering electric heating as an alternative to a heat pump? Speak to us first.

Electric boilers and heat pumps are not interchangeable solutions. The correct choice depends on your property's insulation, existing system, heat demand, and how much disruption is acceptable. A proper assessment confirms which option is technically appropriate and proportionate for your specific situation before any money is spent.

Fixed cost, no surprises

Every installation starts with a system assessment

Before we recommend anything, we assess your system properly. You get a clear answer before committing to any installation work.

£225 + VAT

Fixed cost for a full electric boiler system assessment.

This includes:

  • Full heating system evaluation
  • Electrical supply capacity check
  • Boiler suitability assessment
  • Clear recommendation — repair, upgrade, or replacement

This cost is included within the final installation price if you proceed.

The difference it makes

Most electric boiler installations skip the step that matters most

What often happens:

  • You're quoted for a full replacement before anyone checks if it's actually needed
  • A new boiler goes in. The underlying problem doesn't get diagnosed.
  • The same faults come back within a year, and so does the bill
  • You're left wondering if you spent thousands on something that didn't fix the real issue

What we do instead:

  • We check your system before we recommend anything, including whether you need a new boiler at all
  • If your current boiler can be saved, we'll tell you and explain exactly what it would take
  • If replacement is genuinely the right call, we prepare the system so it won't fail for the same reasons
  • You get a straight answer before any money is spent

Service Coverage

Where we install electric boilers

Electric boiler installation requires correct electrical supply assessment, system preparation, and accountable after-care. For this reason, installation is limited to our core service regions where we can maintain full control over quality, response times, and ongoing support.

System assessments may be available outside these areas. Where appropriate, we can advise on system condition, suitability, and next steps before any installation is considered.
